HEALTHCARE IN COLORADO

As a public servant and an attorney who has worked with vulnerable populations, I have seen firsthand how quality healthcare—or the lack thereof—can fundamentally alter lives. And as a new mother, I understand the worry that comes with wondering whether you can afford to get your child the care they need.

I firmly believe that no Coloradan should be forced to choose between paying for medical care and putting food on the table. Health is a fundamental human right—not a privilege determined by income, employment status, or geographical location. In my role as Chair of the House Health & Human Services Committee, I have had the honor and responsibility of overseeing hearings for all health-related bills. This role has only solidified my determination to make healthcare affordable, accessible, and of the highest quality for every Coloradan. That's why I've spent my time in the legislature fighting for accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare for all.

While we've made significant strides, there is still much work to do. Our journey towards a healthcare system that truly serves everyone is ongoing. You can trust me to continue working tirelessly on policies that prioritize patient needs, protect vulnerable populations, and ensure that quality healthcare is a reality for all.
